FILERECOVERY® Professional allows data recovery from:
- Lost or Deleted Partitions
- Accidental or Malicious Formats
- Installations Gone Wrong
- Virus Attacks - Deletions
- Internal or External drives
- Virtually Any Logical Disk Disaster
NOTE: To preserve the drive with the deleted files, all recovered files must be saved to another storage device
or another drive letter in the system. Do not download the software to the drive that you want to recover.
If you want to recover data from your system drive, download the software to another system and burn it to a CD*.
Then run the software on the affected system from the CD.
Hardware Compatibility:
FILERECOVERY® Professional is a Mac OS X Application that uses direct hardware access. Full privileges are required to successfully use the product.
We have not experienced any problems with IDE or SCSI Drives and have successfully tested the software on FireWire and USB 2.0 Disk Drives.
*FILERECOVERY® Professional is not compatible with recovering CD-ROMs, CDRs or CDRWs
FORENSIC FEATURE: You can now save a list of all files on drive with all their information so a record can be kept of what was found on the drive. This feature is indispensable for forensic investigations or security investigations.
Recommended Hardware Configuration:
- A System Running Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, HFS+ file system.
- PPC or Intel Mac, running at 600MHz or Faster.
- Minimum of 512 MB RAM - More is better
- A Storage Drive or Network Drive at least as large as the amount of data you wish to recover.
FILERECOVERY® Professional for the Mac is available in English only at the moment. However, more languages are being developed currently and soon we will support the same languages as the FILERECOVERY® Professional for Windows®.
FILERECOVERY® Professional is available in a single machine license for end-users and a traveling license for technicians.
